I'm a Staff+ engineer in Leeds, with over twenty years of building for the web. I work on backend systems for banking and, before that, betting: mostly Kotlin and Node.js, on Kubernetes and AWS. A good part of the job is architecture and helping other engineers do their best work. Outside work I build small tools and sites, a few of which have buildings in this city.
